It is only through the music that we have been able to revisit that perfect state of being that we now constantly crave.Įach dj set takes you on a journey, unable to reach the next part without having passed through the others. Also knowing that these memories, now clear in our minds, will fade into the distance as they all do with passing time. It’s as if those sacred moments we experienced in the desert will be diminished by each word that we speak outside of it all. A selection of top visual artists set up across the grounds to spend the weekend painting otherworldly works. Art installations, vendors, food trucks, yoga classes, spiritual workshops, and themed camps including Burning Man’s Pile Palace are all within a short walk. Wander away from the stage and you’ll find an infinite amount of things to do. Considering last year’s event sold out way before the lineup was even announced, it’s clear this tribe shows up for much more than the music. The first ever 4-hour set was delivered by Damian Lazarus as the sun came up Sunday morning. Desert Hearts has a “one stage, one vibe” mantra, meaning you’ll never have to worry about conflicting set times.
